What We Offer

LAAP is a multi-disciplinary assessment service providing clear, evidence-based insights into learning needs, developmental differences and neurodiversity.

Our team brings together educational psychology, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy to deliver comprehensive assessments. We work collaboratively to understand complex profiles and translate findings into practical recommendations.

COMPREHENSIVE
 MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ASSESSMENT

Our educational psychology, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy professionals work together to develop a clear understanding of your child or young person’s needs and the support they require.

Assessments focus particularly on how your child or young person’s needs affect their learning, communication, development, wellbeing and access to education.

AUTISM DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT

A LAAP multi-disciplinary assessment can include the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) and either the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) or the Developmental, Dimensional and Diagnostic Interview (3Di).

The assessment follows NICE guidelines in determining whether a child or young person meets the criteria for a diagnosis of autism.

Our Team

All members of the LAAP team are highly experienced specialists within their respective fields, with extensive experience of assessing children and young people with a wide range of needs, including complex and neurodivergent profiles.
